Hi Everyone,

My "Peeps" say that they have never seen so many rhododendrons blooming before and they really get worked up about those sorts of things.  They didn't tell me why that is such a good thing, I just know they are pretty flowers.  They made a big deal out of putting the rocking chairs out on the front porch here at the Inn and went on and on about how people can sit outside in the evening and rock and listen to the birds and I assume they mean with me sitting in laps.   I'll bet they haven't told you about the family of deer that come to the meadow behind the Inn at sunset,  have they?  Did they tell you that the mountain people around here keep track of how many foggy mornings we have in August and say that is how many snows we will have in the winter?  Or how beautiful the stars are in the summer sky and seem so close it seems I could stretch out my paw and touch them?  And did they say how quiet and peaceful it is at Yonahlossee, so quiet you can hear a kitty purr?  If you asked me, I would tell you all the good things you want to know about my beautiful mountains..........but only when you are sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch of the Inn, with me in your lap.
