Meow Y'all,

If we aren't careful, summer will be here before we know it!  Days are nice and the rhododendrons are blooming like crazy and here it is already May.  Have you thought about what you are going to do this summer?  I have.  I am going to count fireflys or do you call them lightning bugs?  The way I figure it there are 30 days in June, 31 days in July and 31 days in August not counting the rest of May and all of September.  If I count 25 fireflys/lightning bugs per night then by the end of summer I will have seen 805 fireflys/lightning bugs!  I never did believe that "Curiousity Killed the Cat".

Speaking of curiousity killing the cat, have you ever noticed how many sayings we have?  Some of my favorites are "A Bird in the Hand Beats Two in the Bush" and "What Goes Around, Comes Around" and "A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned" and "Life is Like a Box of Chocolates, You Never Know What You Are Going to Get" (Thanks Forrest's Mom).  They all make sense if you ponder them.  But I am curious, who thinks those sayings up?
